Graded knowing?
Apparently I think there are degrees of knowledge. Look what I just wrote:
"Suppose further that I know that G → ~E (and I know them both well enough to know the conjunction). I then deduce from these items that ~E. "
I'm torn about what such cases show. On the one hand, I'm inclined to think that unreflective usage is the "pure" case and that when we start thinking about things we get messed up just like when we try to focus on *how* to ride a bike just before we crash.
On the other hand, I'm more *concerned* with certain notions which may be revisions and extensions of ordinary concepts.
